Playing Games

Monday, November 14, 2005
Having recently added a Motorola A1000 to my armoury of small devices, I needed to add some games to it. I've got a PocketPC and I really enjoy playing JawBreaker, so I've coded my own version, which looks like this. If you've ever played it it's quite addictive, and you can download a version for any UIQ phone here It should work on any phone with the UIQ 2.0 interface (or above), but I've only tested it on the Motorola A1000 (and the P800 emulator). I've also created a Symbian version of Sudoku which is a great little puzzle. It can be a bit slow to generate new puzzles, but it works fairly well. You can also download that from here If you do download either of these and have any comments then feel free to leave them here. #edited to fix up links. I can't believe I didn't notice for two months they were broken :-(

the simple graphics are way better than some failed fancy attempts i've seen around

btw, is working fine without p800 emulator - i don't think this is required for a1000 (as for a920/a925)...?

thanks again!

You're right, I haven't used any device dependency code in the games. They should work on any UIQ device without emulation.
